Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of STK Steakhouse, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of the top known limitations. Please contact us at [email protected]. If you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for STK Steakhouse:
- WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast
a. There are some areas that do not pass contrast standards (/location & /contact). We have chosen new colours for these areas and they are currently in the developments team’s hands to implement.
- WCAG 1.3.1 Info & Relationships
a. Labels missing a unique for attribute: On the /en-us/delivery page and /happenings/[specific] page – some dropdown menu labels are not associated with a control, and potentially could cause problems with some assistive technology in linking the label with the control.
b. Some Tables missing headers and summaries: These issues are due to 3rd party software code (Tripleseat) and con’t be directly addressed unless the 3rd party software is changed.
c. Heading is missing text: This is currently being evaluated by a developer.
d. Mapbox interactive map code lists or groups of links are note written semantically. This would allow assistive technologies to more easily navigate from item to item, or past entire groups of links if the user wants to.
- WCAG 3.3.3 Corrections are not provided on some forms
a. There are some forms where no audible correction is read even though it is visible on screen. This is not resolvable due to the code being from a 3rd party (Tripleseat) – unless different software is decided upon. (en-us/private-events/private-events-booking/)
